The Slabline Score™

A credit score for your graded card collection

One number, 0–1000, that tells you how well-protected your collection is — not how good your cards are. Built from five weighted risk factors, refreshed as the market and your coverage change.

What it measures

Most collectors know roughly what their cards are worth, but not how exposed they are. The Slabline Score turns that exposure — coverage gaps, single-card concentration, storage risk, liquidity, and provenance — into one standardized, credit-style number you can track and improve.

Why a single number

A score is comparable, trackable, and actionable. It surfaces the one highest-impact thing to fix next, shows progress over time, and gives a broker or insurer a consistent risk signal across any collection.

The five factors

35%

Insurance

Is your stated coverage keeping up with current market value? The largest factor — an underinsured collection is the biggest risk.

25%

Concentration

How much of your value sits in a single card. Heavy concentration magnifies a single loss.

20%

Storage

Climate, fire, theft, light, and handling — the physical protections around the slabs.

10%

Liquidity

How quickly the collection converts to cash if you needed to sell.

10%

Provenance

How much of the value is backed by a verified grading cert and documentation.
